Ce blog se propose de vous présenter l'univers musical du concept Fantastic House créé en 1990.
Influencé par les sonorités électroniques, gothiques et New Wave, il a véritablement acquis en maturité à partir de 2002.
Vous y retrouverez les 12 premiers albums, les aspirations et projets de cet auteur, compositeur, interprète atypique.
Le concept "Fantastic House" ("F. H.") consiste en un nouveau style musical nommé "Electro D. I. Y." (D. I. Y. signifiant "Do It Yourself").
Il s'agit d'une musique électronique constituée de samples et de synthétiseurs "bricolés façon maison" (d'où le "D. I. Y." accolé à l'électro) sur laquelle viennent se poser des textes chantés en français et anglais principalement, mais aussi ponctuellement en espagnol, portugais et même parfois latin (l'influence romaine étant largement présente chez "F. H.").
Le "D. I. Y." s'explique également par le fait que le compositeur ne dispose d'aucune formation musicale. Tout est écrit à l'oreille et se veut le reflet d'une ambiance métaphysique interne, celle de son âme, de son esprit, de sa conscience et son subconscient.
Au départ et pendant près de dix ans faute de moyens financiers, un petit magnétophone, un micro de récup' et un petit clavier PSS-399 de Yamaha servaient de support. Puis avec la popularisation de l'informatique familiale, l'enregistrement sur disque dur et l'arrivée de logiciels de mixage furent associés à un clavier CTK-651 de Casio pour retransmettre plus fidèlement et plus proprement l'atmosphère "F. H."
L'enregistrement sur CD et surtout l'avènement du MP3 permirent une diffusion plus large des compositions. Malheureusement, faute de temps et surtout d'une maison de production ayant pignon sur rue, "F. H." reste et demeurera certainement un concept amateur. La preuve que la production musicale est indépendante de toute commercialisation capitaliste et qu'on peut tout à fait créer sans forcément en vivre.
Au rythme d'un à trois albums par an, "F. H." conserve son inspiration et se nourrit des pensées, rêves et réflexions de l'auteur qui trouve dans la conception artistique un exutoire à ses angoisses personnelles.

FANTASTIC HOUSE
This blog proposes to present to you the musical universe of the concept Fantastic house created in 1990.

You will find the first 12 albums there, the aspirations and projects of this author, type-setter, interprets atypical.
The concept "Fantastic House" ("F H.") consist of a new musical style named "Electro D.I.Y." (D.I.Y. meaning "Do It Yourself").
It is an electronic music made up of samples and arranged synthetizers "way house" (from where the "D. I Y." joined with electro) on which come to be posed texts sung in French and English mainly, but also punctually in Spanish, Portuguese and even sometimes Latin (the Roman influence being largely present at "F.H.").
The "D. I Y." be also explained by the fact that the type-setter does not have any musical formation. All is written with the ear and wants to be the reflection of a metaphysical intern environment, that of its heart, its spirit, its conscience and its subconscious.
At the beginning and during nearly ten years fault of financial means, a small tape recorder, a microphone of récup' and a small keyboard PSS-399 of Yamaha were used as support. Then the popularization of computing home, the recording on hard disk and the arrival of software of mixing were associated a keyboard CTK-651 of Casio to retransmit more accurately and more properly the atmosphere "F.H."
The recording on CD and especially the advent of the MP3 allowed a broader diffusion of the compositions. Unfortunately, of time and especially for lack of a house of production being prosperous and highly respected, "F.H." remains and will remain certainly a concept amateur. The proof that the musical production is independent of any capitalist marketing and that one can completely create without inevitably in living.
At the rhythm of one to three albums per annum, "F.H." preserves its inspiration and nourishes thoughts, dreams and reflexions of the author who finds in the artistic design a discharge system with his personal anguishes.
